How MemeFeed’s scanner works

MemeFeed compares token candidates across networks using reported trading activity and liquidity. The source label tells you whether metrics refer to a token or a selected pool. It helps you identify a contract to research; it does not predict a token’s return or certify that it is safe.

Maintained by MemeFeed. Methodology updated . Each scanner shows its own quote snapshot time.

Where the data comes from

GMGN supplies token-level hourly rank samples for Solana, BNB Chain, Base and Ethereum when personal server access is configured. Each request asks for tokens created within seven days. The returned sample is not a complete launch feed. Token creation time can be unknown; no verified pool address or last-market-update timestamp is supplied. GMGN flags are provider claims, not an independent safety audit.

Without GMGN configured, DEX Screener supplies candidate profiles, categories and pair quotes. We select a qualifying pair for each network and contract. A ticker alone is not an identity: identical addresses on different networks are separate tokens. Profile descriptions are project-supplied, not independent endorsements.

When primary quotes are unavailable, GeckoTerminal can refresh already known contracts on Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain. That limited refresh does not discover new tokens and cannot create a new first-seen record.

What the numbers mean

FieldDefinition and limit
Pair ageIn DEX/Gecko mode, age of the selected pool, not the token. In GMGN mode, the column is Token age: its reported creation timestamp, with no verified pool.
First seenFirst observation of a network-and-contract identity by MemeFeed after its initial tracking baseline. It is not an on-chain creation date.
Hourly volumeGMGN: token-level volume for the requested 1h interval. DEX/Gecko: volume of the selected pair. Neither is independently verified organic demand.
LiquidityGMGN: reported token liquidity without a verified pool address. DEX/Gecko: reported USD liquidity in the selected pool. It does not guarantee execution size, exit liquidity or protection against a rug pull.
Market capThe provider’s available market-cap value. An unavailable market cap stays blank; fully diluted value is not silently substituted.

How the views differ

GMGN New tokens shows tokens with a known reported creation date within seven days. DEX/Gecko New pairs shows pools within seven days. Rows pass the scanner’s displayed liquidity and hourly-volume filters. Active shows qualifying returned candidates; GMGN rank requests already restrict the source sample to seven days when age is known. First seen shows post-baseline contracts first observed within the snapshot’s preceding 24 hours. The initial baseline for each source is excluded. Existing observations retain their dates when sources change.

The default filter requires at least $10,000 in reported liquidity and $1,000 in hourly volume. These are discovery filters chosen by MemeFeed, not safety ratings. A blank network can mean no qualifying data in this snapshot; it does not mean no tokens exist there.

Freshness and missing coverage

Refreshes use a shared server cache. The time shown is when quotes were fetched, not when you opened the page. A snapshot older than fifteen minutes is labelled stale. Rate limits and provider failures can delay updates; a failed fetch keeps the previous timestamp. Limited coverage and known-token refresh are labelled when used. Never treat an old displayed price as an executable quote.

What happens when you open Fomo

The scanner can help you carry a contract into further research. Confirm the exact network and asset in Fomo before acting; a token appearing here does not prove it is available there. The labelled Fomo link is an affiliate link. MemeFeed may earn a share of eligible fees, and does not independently observe your account, deposits or trades.
